Aputure Light Dome SE Softbox
Light but powerful
Aputure Light Dome SE is a newly launched upgraded version of the multi-purpose parabolic reflector.
It has a brand new powerful design that allows it to develop lightness to a high scale while maintaining a strong soft light core.
Film-level soft light, lightweight design, small size, and compatibility with standard Bowens mount, making it a good choice for shooting.
Small volume but large soft light area
The 18-bar fiberglass support rods design allows the Light Dome SE to have a larger circular arc and a wider opening angle, which saves space and has a larger soft light area. In the open state, the diameter is 85cm and the depth is 45cm. Different from the traditional rugby ball shape, the light-emitting surface is more similar to the spherical shape, which provides a more uniform and natural soft light effect for shooting.
Multiple lighting control
In order to be creative, an artist must have options.
Light Dome SE comes standard with two professional diffusion fabric and a control grid. Users can choose outside diffusers(1.5 stop and 2.5 stop) or an inside diffuser according to their needs to obtain a soft light source that is more suitable for the current shooting scene. If you want to prevent the light source from overflowing, you can also use 45°control grid to control the light source more precisely.

1) Speed Ring Adapter installation
